The implementation of the New Horizons project in the Euroqualification Center begins

“New horizons in Euroqualification Center JSC”

On March 29, 2017, the Euroqualification Center started the implementation of the project under contract No. BG05M9OP001-1.003-2432-C01 “New Horizons at the Euroqualification Center AD”.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program “Development of Human Resources” 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union.

The total amount of funding is BGN 141,451, of which BGN 120,233.35 is from the ESF and BGN 21,217.65 is from national co-financing.

The main goal of the project proposal “New horizons in the Euroqualification Center AD” is to create conditions for sustainable employment of unemployed and inactive persons by opening and equipping 8 new workplaces in the “EKC” AD in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas , Ruse.

The specific objectives of the project proposal are:

Provision of 12-month employment for 8 unemployed and/or inactive persons, mostly from vulnerable groups on the labor market, and at least 4 of them will receive an offer for subsequent employment in the company in the position of “Training Organizer”;
Equipment, furnishing and technical provision of 8 new workplaces, according to the needs to fulfill the duties of the employees in each workplace;
Improving the qualifications of employees through training in the “Office Manager” profession and in “Digital Competence”.

The project is oriented towards solving the problem of unemployed and inactive persons by creating regulated employment, providing them with income, professional realization, security and protection in the workplace.

It is envisaged that at least 4 of the employed persons will be representatives of specific categories, including long-term unemployed and inactive, incl. aged under 29 or over 54.

For young people, joining the project is an opportunity for work and a professional start. For persons over 54, the possibility of a new realization. By participating in the project, the permanently unemployed and inactive will restore or acquire work habits, knowledge and skills that meet the demand on the labor market. In parallel, the financial support for the new workplaces, their equipment and one-year employment of them, received under the current project, will support the company’s goals for the development of economic activity in a wide territorial scope.

 

The expected RESULTS from the implementation of the project activities are 8 new equipped workplaces, provided training and employment for 8 unemployed and/or inactive persons, at least 4 of whom have specific needs for employment, created prerequisites for the sustainable integration of the unemployed into the labor market and inactive persons of working age and for the development of the candidate company “EKC” AD.

Through the project, unemployed persons will be encouraged and motivated to work, and conditions will be created for them to access an active working life, they will acquire professional skills and competences, they will develop their potential and they will receive labor income adequate to the position held. At the same time, with the help of the financial support of the ESF under the current procedure “New Job 2015” under OP HRD, “EKC” JSC will increase its capacity by opening, technical and material provision of new jobs and increasing its human capital in several regions of the country, which will contribute to the territorial expansion of its activity. The intentions of the center are that the achieved results have a sustainable character by preserving at least 50% of the new jobs for another 12 months. Employees with proven professional and work potential will have the opportunity to continue working in the company after their participation in the project.
